Face It
The design process started in Procreate of course. After getting the rough design out and making sure the composition was symmetrical with bold shapes I moved into Adobe Illustrator. This was a great project to work on my eye for shapes and to better understand how shapes interact with each other in a drawing that’s so layered (literally).
For the style inspiration, I looked to prominent “Y2K” influences with softer edges, some influences from cyber wear, and bold hair shapes. The pieces are two groups of trios with a star motif in one group and a forehead scar in the other group.
